Deep South Koi SocietyThe Society is a nonprofit club which promotes and the building and maintenance of garden ponds in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. We are a group of pond owners, not a commercial organization. We were formerly known as the Capital Area Pond & Water Gardening Society
The Society is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. You are welcome to join us if you have pond or just want to know how to build a pond. Click for our history. We answer questions about pond fish, pond filters, pond pumps, pond water health, pond filters. Our members have all kinds of pond pumps, pond liners, and pond plants. You see our ponds during pond tours and during our monthly meetings. |

Pond and Water Garden MeetingsWe hold meetings on the 4th Sunday of each month from January through October. A combined November/December meeting early in the holiday season doubles as a Christmas Party.A monthly newsletter, The Water Spout, features educational articles about fish ponds, pond filters, and water garden events. See past issues organized by subject. |
